Growing up orange... yeah the "OC" the land of smoke and mirrors, overpriced homes, botox, and yes, plenty of beaches to go around...though not even half the residents there go to them. Did I mention Disneyland? Yup...worked there too, and yes, EVERYONE goes there! Cram ya in like sardines in a can to fill their bottom line. Typical broken family, absentee dad.... you have to know by now- everyone has a story. I am typically one to not hide behind an image- take it or leave it- all I ask is you make up your mind..but have some freakin fun with it!
My work follows my absolute love of my wife and family, and my father in Christ Jesus. I paint what I love, what moves me. My education comes from perhaps the best technical program (I spent two years at Baylor University), and the best conceptual/theoretical program, (I graduated with my BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California), and to top it off I am finishing my Graduate studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I reside now in beautiful hill country San Antonio, Texas, and am the Art Director for BASIS Shanvano Park, an accelerated academic program for middle/high school students. My focus is on where it should be- creating at this time.
My work is a focus on the subconscious as well as the conscious observations we make on a daily basis. I work in Acrylic and Oil Paint, Charcoal and graphite Drawing as well as Print.
One of the things I enjoy about art is that, simply put, we can go anywhere! We can do and become anything! Path to greatness is what I pursue. The work itself was created to honor my time at USC
